This scheme involved the provision of essential flood protection to properties in the catchment areas of the Loop and Glenbrook River, Belfast.
The scheme comprised a series of “U” sections to act as flood defences along the extent of the open channel in addition to the replacement of an existing pipe culvert with a box culvert along Glenbrook Burn from Montgomery Road to Cregagh Road, Belfast with a number of road crossings and associated closures.
