Lowry Building & Civil Engineering Ltd are committed to delivering all our services in a way which ensures that the health, safety and welfare of our employees, clients, supply chain partners and the general public is maintained at all times.

We regard health and safety as our highest priority and as such we operate a stringent health and safety management system which is 3rd party accredited by the Northern Ireland Construction Employers Federation (CEF) to current Safe-T-Cert standards. Safe-T-Cert is recognised under the ‘Buildsafe’ initiative in Northern Ireland and the ‘Construction Safety Partnership’ in the Republic of Ireland. Sate-T-Cert is also a member of Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP).

We invest heavily in health and safety training which ensures that all employees possess the competence and ability to perform their tasks in line with current legislation, standards and best practice. This training specifically includes a Behavioural Safety approach based on a partnership between management and employees which continually focuses attention on the daily actions of employees and all of those around them. This helps promote a positive culture which we actively encourage and reward at all levels.

We fully understand the importance of Occupational Health in relation to the long-term wellbeing of our employees. We regularly monitor and control all activities which could have a detrimental impact on employee health and undertake a number of initiatives to maintain this including visits by the Action Cancer Big Bus.
